Painting / Sewing / Crafting

In my free time, I do a lot of arts and crafts. This page is just for fun, to showcase some of my other interests. I believe in making art, not trash. I try to find ways to use up what I have around the house for my projects including, old jewelry, cardboard, fabric scraps, and clothes.

JEWELRY

I take apart old jewelry I do not wear anymore and collect materials from around the house to make into earrings. Here is a collection of my favorite creations

SEWING

I have done a variety of projects from t-shirt quilts, making plushies, and sewing clothes. Over the summer of 2020, I made an octopus out of old socks (Named Mr. Soctapus) and took old jeans to make jackets and pants.

CARDBOARD ARTS

I have been told I have more fun with the box than I do with what is in the box. Through the years, I have collected cardboard to repurpose into decorations and props for my room. I like to recreate props I see on tv shows and movies. I am a huge fan of Thor from the Marvel Universe and made his axe and hammer.
